Hi, IM LUCKY S. DAOUD.

Nice to meet you! I am grounded in anti-oppressive practice, harm reduction, restorative and transformative justice, and an emphasis on relationships. I believe that queer and trans people of color are sacred, no one is disposable, and a world without police and prisons is on its way.

These practices and frameworks are central to my work and life; they are born of my family’s indigenous ways of being, as well as the generous labor of fellow queer and trans people of color who have mentored me, supported me, and held me accountable.

I have had the honor of serving Chicago communities for more than 15 years in many roles— as a crisis counselor, mediator, facilitator, teaching artist, therapist, consultant, case manager, youth worker, and community organizer— to name a few.

Some communities I prioritize working with are queer and trans folks, especially those who are Black, indigenous, and people of color; immigrants, refugees, and others who have been harmed by US imperialism; current and former sex workers; polyamorous partners and families; young people; and neurodivergent folks.
